An Update

Hey guys! Sorry for the silence! I have a few blog posts I am getting out tonight and tomorrow and then I will have another hopefully short silence! I am moving across the country on Friday and have been busy with packing, setting up blog photos, working RL , etc. Once I move I have to mess around with the computer I have there (It's not so good) and hopefully get it working well enough for me to take blog photos and move around on SL! Do you guys have any viewer suggestions? I was using firestorm way back before but it got to a point where I couldn't move my camera without locking up and crashing. I'll be saving up for a new computer though so I can get back to my regular blogging like it used to be!

As you can see in the photo above, I'm exhausted, trying to keep up. Good thing I've been living in pajamas lately. I can just fall over onto my bed and take a long nap! These pajamas are from Jellybeans Fashions and can be found at Neverland Events until the 8th of October! Then a new round begins! There are some super super cute things at this event and I can't wait to keep showing you! (One more post about it before the move and then a couple more after).

I'm off to fly to Neverland where I will be shopping, shopping, shopping! Pixie dust only works if you think of happy things! Shopping definitely makes me happy!

Neverland Events is a new event with a theme that runs every 2 months! Items made by kids for kids! The theme this month is Dream Land and designers used their dreams and imagination to create some super cute items!

The super cute fair outfit I am wearing is from the event, made by Doodlez. It's called Twinkerbellz and comes in ivy, lilac, rose, and sweetpea. It comes with the tutu outfit, the shoes, wand, tiara, anklet, wings, and bracelet.

Of course I brought my coin purse with me because you need money to buy things! It's from Noodles and the one I am holding is the tan one but you can get it in white if you prefer.

Oh Daddy my Daddy

I've been with my SL dad for 5 years and 9 months now. He loves me just the same as he did the first days and I love him the same! I almost never (sometimes I accidentally log too fast) log off without blowing him kisses and saluting him. I'm his Lil Chuck, his cutie, his Audrey, and his trouble. He laughs at my antics. We even zombie hunt together! He is so awesome that he is even a Lt. Colonel at Tombstone. That means he is good at shooting bad guys...or eating donuts...did they have donuts in that time period? I plan to spend many more years with him! As many as I can get!

I used a pose from GlamRus Poses called "Mini Me". It can be bought at All the Little Things for an awesome low price but be sure to buy it before the 27th! This round of ATLT is Limited. The items exclusive for this round will not be sold after this month is up!

My owl nails and panda necklace are also limited this month and can be bought at All the Little Things.

My oh so cute vanity and chair will fit nicely in any bedroom! Wimey made this set for The Challenge! The chair even has poses! This set is currently only 150L!

My cute giraffe toy? You can get that at Kidz Clozet. It comes in a set of 8 (7 other animals besides the giraffe) and is 1LI! It looks great on shelves, floors, vanities, and even dressers!

I don't normally wear binkies but this mustache one is just so adorable (I love cute mustache themed things!) It's from That's So Kyoot's Gatcha for Woodland Treasures! There are a ton of cute ones. So if you are into wearing binkies, you should totally go play it!

New Events and End of the Month Last Call!

Earlier this month I blogged a preview for the current round of Enchantment. This is the final blog I will be making for it this month (it ends at the end of the month until next round) and I also wanted to show you all a few more things you could get from it!

This round's theme is centered around the tale of Bluebeard (who did indeed have a bluebeard).

At the bottom of this post will be links to each store partcipating. Each store has an item that you can buy (from any of the stores) that will have a stamp card in it. Take the stamp card to each store and click on the stamp machine and it will stamp your card. When you fill up your card you can either gift it to someone or take the SLurl it gives you and pick a prize from the prize area. 1 stamp card = 1 prize.

You can click the photo above to see it larger. The things I got from enchantment in the photo are my necklace, eyes, earrings, and the candle. There is a larger picture of the candle below. The earrings from Pita Pocket are a prize as is the candle from Tea.s. The necklace (from tea.s) and the eyes (from Chop Shop) are for sale in their respective stores for a great price and each includes a stamp card!

The outfit I am wearing is from Petite Bebe and can be bought at a new event you may have heard of. Route66 is a new monthly event where designers make something based on colors and/or a theme they are given. Each store's item they make is for sale ending in a 66 (for example: $66L, $166L, $266L, etc.). This outfit includes the skirt, sandals, and sweater. Super cute for this fall weather approaching and it only costs $166L! The event will end in early sept. I believe so that they can set up for a new round that will begin Sept. 16th so hurry down and grab this outfit at this great price!

Shake it Off!

I'm sure a ton of you have listened to/seen the new Taylor Swift song, Shake it Off. If not it will be at the bottom of this post. I have never been a fan of her music. It just didn't appeal to me. I give her a chance now because of a song she sang for the hunger games soundtrack which didn't even sound like her. Her new song has got me hooked. It's played on repeat for a few days now (don't worry I listened to other stuff and took breaks)!

That's So {Kyoot} has released a super cute new outfit that is 50L today (for FLF /kids/). It has that ballerina feel to it but it has a pair of shorts so it becomes an outfit! My most favorite part of it though is the leggings. I wish I could pull leggings like that off in RL!

The pose is from Shutterbug's Woodland Gatcha that ends here in a few days. It's from her series, When I Grow Up". It's mod so you can easily adjust the poses and bar to your height! The music box is from Nach's Woodland Gatcha. Each fairytale music box plays the tune that it was inspired by.

Dress-Up Dialog: Hunger Games

Dress-Up Dialog is a new segment on my blog where I will set up a scene and costume and accessories from various places as if I was playing pretend. I am hoping to do this about once weekly among my other things I blog. If you have ideas you'd like to see on the blog don't hesitate to drop me a NC in world (Audra Graves).

This week I decided I would go check out Panem but when I was there they mistook me for a resident and because I am not a grown up I ended up SOMEHOW getting my name drawn to be in the Hunger Games. I think someone set me up! 

When we were released I ran quickly to the cornucopia and grabbed the best looking weapon I could find. I learned all about how to use them in training. Turns out the sword I grabbed is from Wimey. It's one of the rare weapons you can get from The Fantasy Gatcha which is open now! I didn't realize you couldn't see my cool earrings but Wimey has some jewelry as the commons. There are some amazing looking necklaces and earrings that I tried on when I had to look presentable for my Interview with Caesar. They are made for grown up avatars but they worked on me and I am a Toddleedoo!

The Hunger Games are dangerous and I don't know if i will make it out but cross your fingers for me that I do!!

Woodland Helps Make Memories

There are a a ton of new poses at Woodland Treasures this month (along with many other things of course. It's an anniversary round so there is double the amount of participants).

Glamrus Kidz made a set of summer poses so I convinced my parents that I wanted hamburgers. The Grilled kind, not the McDonald's kind. Momma set up the picnic table with lots of options and daddy started grilling the burgers. I'm 4 now so I should be able to grill things on my own but daddy said I was still too young but I could help him. He picked me up and we went to check on the burgers. 

Pudding Pop just released a new dress called Ella and I fell in love with it the moment I saw the ad. Stripes and floral! *swoon* If you haven't checked out Pudding Pop then be sure to take the SLurl at the bottom and see what she has to offer! The Pose in the above picture (minus my momma in the background) is called Grillin Like Daddy and It's a common prize from GlamRus Kidz's Woodland Gatcha.

After dinner, which was DELICIOUS, I invited Natalee over to play and we had a blast! We got a bit hyper, was probably all that koolaid and fizzy soda, and ran around like a bunch of crazies. Daddy tried to catch us to calm us down but momma knew there was no point and watched daddy try. Turns out he just wanted a picture of the two of us together so we calmed ourselves for half a minute to get this sweet photo of us! Natalee is wearing a tucked tank, high waisted shorts, and boho sandals all from Little Closet. The hair she is wearing is rigged mesh for TD avatars (awesome right!?) that can be found over at Lil Olive. The pose in the 2nd photo is meant for 2 adults and 3 kids but since it's mod you can unlink (at your own risk) and adjust if needed! Still cute with just 2 kids! That one is called Beach Madness and it's a rare from the GlamRus Kidz Woodland Gatcha. The pose in the 3rd photo will work even if your friend or sibling is shorter or taller than you. That one is called Summer Buds and it is a common in the GlamRus Kidz Woodland Gatcha. 

 

After Natalee left I played some dress-up, my favorite, with momma and daddy. They were such sports. The pose with daddy is by Shutterbugs and it's called Stylist pose. It's a common from a gacha with a whole series of poses called "When I grow up". Here is my most favorite part about the stylist pose; It comes with a set for Kid TDs. AMAZING! I was so excited!The pose also comes with some props for the Kids to wear but I was laughing so hard at daddy's make up I forgot to put one on! Poor daddy. Mommy Let me arrest her and put her in Time-Out jail. This post is also by shutterbugs from the same gacha series and is called Police Pose and it is a rare. The pose comes with the chair, jail sign, handcuffs, baton, and police hat. Momma doesn't look to thrilled haha!

Wimey participated in Rhapsody (which ends on July 12th btw) this time around. They were given jazz and what cool things were made? See that Jazz sign above my head and the headpiece I am wearing? Those are both items you can get at Rhapsody made by Wimey! I love flapper girls and the roaring 20s (Seriously, I listen to Electro Swing and Speakeasy Jazz in real life)! Seeing the headband, I wanted to set up a photo that looked like I was headed to an event in the time period of one of my favorite genres. Wimey is also participating in "Oh My Gacha!" which ends on July 15th. For this event, Wimey, made some tote bags!

Camp Hardknock or Bust!

I think it was their 2nd or 3rd session of camp that I started going to Camp Hardknock. It was winter camp and I remember the giant pond that was pure ice and being able to ice fish and ice skate. I remember we had an avalanche so we all had to leave our cabins in the middle of the night, half asleep, but chaperoned by the safety of our counselors, as we headed to an underground shelter much like something you would see the president run to. There were bunks lining the walls and center of the bunker and we "slept" there til it was safe. I say "slept" because no one really slept, there was just too much excitement and worry from the avalanche. What if we were stuck there forever!? Who would save us!? Would we have to live on Mr Gattz's cardboard pancakes forever (read: we already do so that wouldn't be much different.)

Just from that little snippet above I hope you are able to see some of why SL kids LOVE Camp Hardknock. We lose sleep over worrying whether or not we will make it through registration (because to make camp the most enjoyable there is a limit of kids and honestly everyone who has been to camp will agree (I assume). Then that sigh of relief as we see our payment go through just before the 1st or 2nd registration cut off of campers. I wouldn't doubt if many cried tears of joy! The Directors (the Gilmans) and the co-directors, and the counselors all do a wonderful job of making this the most looked forward to experience an SL kid has (I'm not kidding...the timer for the next camp session starts the moment camp is over).

Mommy had me help her get the mail today (sometimes I like to help you know). I can't read too well so I couldn't tell you what all we got today but it was probably mostly bills. I've never seen mommy so happy about mail. As we got inside I was about to go back and play in my room when she told me to hold on a minute. I watched her sort through mail, mumbling which was junk and which was bills, and which was that new awesome zombie shooting magazine she had been waiting for. When she was done she had one in her hand left that she handed to me and told me to open it. I was sceptical at first because I don't want to pay bills! I turned it over and saw my name on it though (I can't mistake that part) and quickly ripped it open. I am honestly not sure what the rest said because I saw the Camp Hardknock Logo and instantly knew what it was. I WAS GOING TO CAMP!

Camp isn't til the 12th but I didn't waste anytime packing. I threw everything I had into a suitcase and attempted to close it with no luck. Mommy came in and explained that I can't bring the cat, or my candy stash, or collection of empty shoe boxes. I reluctantly put most of it back (you knew I wasn't putting all the candy back right?) and was able to finish packing. I waited by the door and mommy had to explain to me again that there was still a week left and I would have to eat, sleep, bathe, and use the bathroom still. She said she wanted to spend as much time with me as possible and to not rush camp because I would miss her and she would miss me even though we know i will be having so much fun.

Bonsai Madness

As Always, Arcade is huge again! I expected to have a huge list but never expected it to be as long as it was this round! I've spent a LOT of money already and i am not even done!

Mad Peas is participating and this round of The Arcade and for their gacha they have released some Bonsai Trees. There 16 different trees to collect, and 2 of them are rare (the tall ones shown behind me). They are all low Li (1-3). There are 8 Pairs total so when you get 2 of a pair they react to each other and play a melody! It's actually really cool! I wanted to find a way to show you all but all i have is a grainy Gyazo Gif so I hope it helps!

Anchors Away!

Rory and I decided to hang around on the Treehouse today. We were both melting in today's heat so we took this opportunity to wear our swimsuits to help stay cool. Noodles recently (yesterday) released new sandals for Collabor88. What's so great about these sandals is that they come in Regular grown-up size (slink) and TD Kid & Baby size!






The Sandals have an option that when you click them you can change the metal type of the anchor! You have the options of Silver, Gold, Rose Gold, Bronze, Hematite. You can buy colors separately or buy a fatpack version which has a color change set!

Spring Overalls and Oopsies

One of my favorite things about warmer weather is being able to wear overalls. I LOVE overalls. Even overall shorts! It was really nice outside so I threw on the new overalls outfit that That's So Kyoot released called "Lizzie". It comes with the undershirt (in a HUD), Mesh overalls, flip flops, glasses, and 2 bracelets. It's a soft blue and has a cute pattern! Us toddleedoos just look so cute in overalls! The bracelets and shoes all have resize scripts in them so you can easily fit them to your avatar's size. The glasses do not BUT they are mod so you can adjust those too! This outfit is 85L at That's So Kyoot's mainstore!

I also dropped my ice cream while window shopping today and I got super sad. good thing I got more though!

In the Summertime: A 50L Day

New things! New things!




Baby Couture has released a new outfit in 4 colors today for 50L Friday /kids/! It's called "Summertime" and above I am wearing it in Teal. There are also options to buy it in Grey, Blue, or Rose. The outfit comes with the top and the shorts. The sandals I paired with it are the Journey sandals. You can find a ton of color options for these separately from the outfit above for 75L each! There are even some floral options!

The Sunglasses I am wearing are from Candydoll for 50L friday! You can also buy them in Blue.
The Stage I am on is really cool! You can buy it for 50L from boogers today! The pack comes with 2 other color options! I am using the wood option.

Original Art and Gachas....knowing where my addictions lie

As some of you may know, Mad City is closing soon. This does NOT, however, mean that Madpeas is going anywhere. It's actually quite the opposite. Madpeas is still hard at work on UNIA and I can't wait for the next update. This is going to be the biggest game in SL and it will be awesome!

In the last days of Mad City, they are holding an art gacha festival. There are 11 artists who have a gacha set up all with original artwork. Everything is under 100L a play (I think the highest was 75L) and there is some amazing artwork to be had!

If you go to check it out and test your luck (because even these gachas have rares!) be sure to have a look around the area too! there are some great works of art out for display! Sculptures and even samples of what the artists have made! The sculptures holding the gachas are a work of art themselves.

I played a few and crosses my fingers. Still couldn't grab the rare from Sabbian Paine's gacha but I got one of the others from it that I liked.  It's adds to my skybox nicely!

I also got some artwork from Rag Randt and Thea Maiman.

Family Flea Market Takes a Hike to the Woods

Last month's theme for Family Flea Market was the jungle. This month it's the Woods.

The scenery is so fun to explore and the sounds add to the experience so make sure you have volume on! Watch out for Bears!

The event runs til May 25th so head over there with the taxi at the bottom and grab these items for a discounted price while the event runs!

Here are a few things I got!

Little Moments - Princess Teddy Tea Party comes with the tea table (and the decor on it) and the cushion (that has sits in it!). It has 4 different poses that work for both TD kid and baby! there is a princess teddy to fit each pose! Also comes with a princess teddy that has a hold Animation in it! Low Land impact!!

The cut-out canvases in the background of the 3rd picture are from *. emm Shop! 1Li each! Mod and Copy!

The Cardigan tee duo is from Minuet! It's part of a gatcha! I got the cat head one and the whale one you will see below

The Owl (which has a hold but doesn't fit me and still makes a great decoration!) is from Wimey! There are 2 version available at their booth!

Lastly!

Larnia Kids put out 2 different color schemes of a toy picnic basket! It comes with a holdable basket with carry. A blanket, plastic food, condiments, an empty basket, color change paper plates, and has 5 built in poses! (some of those poses have 2 version for different sizes)!
